Concerns over mold at the Babonneau Wellness Centre have prompted staff complaints about health risks, and the temporary closure of the facility for deep cleaning. Health Minister Moses Jn Baptiste has given assurances that the ministry of health is addressing the issue, which is also affecting other facilities on the island.

The Saint Lucia Fire Service conducted a fire drill at the St Aloysius RC Boys School on Wednesday. School staff also learned how to create and execute an emergency evacuation plan for school employees & students.
