برخی از منابع خبری این کانال (با تصرف و تلخیص) : ایران وایر کیهان لندن رویترز یورونیوز یونگ ولت (آلمان) در زمان سلطنت محمدرضا شاه پهلوی، ایران یکی از کشورهای دارای منابع غنی نفتی بود که از درآمدهای حاصل از صادرات نفت بهره‌مند می‌شد. شاه پهلوی، با توجه به منابع مالی کشور، در طول دوران سلطنت خود اقدام به ایجاد صندوق‌ها و حساب‌های ذخیره ارزی کرد تا درآمدهای نفتی را در جهت توسعه و پیشرفت کشور به کار گیرد. یکی از این اقدامات، تأسیس صندوقی به نام "صندوق توسعه" بود که هدف آن سرمایه‌گذاری درآمدهای نفتی در پروژه‌های زیرساختی و اقتصادی کشور بود. همچنین بخشی از این درآمدها به عنوان ذخایر ارزی در بانک‌های خارجی نگهداری می‌شد تا در مواقع ضروری برای حمایت از اقتصاد کشور مورد استفاده قرار گیرد. پس از سقوط رژیم پهلوی در سال ۱۳۵۷ و روی کار آمدن جمهوری اسلامی ایران، موجودی صندوق‌های ذخیره ارزی و دیگر دارایی‌های شاه مورد بحث و بررسی قرار گرفت. براساس برخی گزارش‌ها، میزان ذخایر ارزی ایران در پایان حکومت شاه به میلیاردها دلار می‌رسید. این مبلغ به عنوان یکی از دارایی‌های کشور به جمهوری اسلامی منتقل شد. علاوه بر این، ثروت‌های دیگری که از رژیم پهلوی به جا مانده بود شامل املاک و مستغلات، شرکت‌ها و سهام، صنایع نفتی و معدنی، و سایر دارایی‌های داخلی و خارجی بود. این ثروت‌ها، که بخشی از آن‌ها توسط شاه و خانواده سلطنتی در اختیار داشتند، پس از انقلاب به دست جمهوری اسلامی افتاد و تحت مدیریت دولت جدید قرار گرفت. در سال‌های پس از انقلاب، دولت جمهوری اسلامی از این دارایی‌ها برای تأمین هزینه‌های جنگ تحمیلی، بازسازی کشور پس از جنگ، و توسعه اقتصادی و زیرساخت‌های کشور استفاده کرد. به طور کلی، ثروتی که شاه پهلوی برای ایران به جا گذاشت، پایه‌ای مهم برای اقتصاد کشور در دوران پس از انقلاب شد، اما نحوه مدیریت و استفاده از این ثروت‌ها توسط جمهوری اسلامی به یکی از موضوعات بحث‌برانگیز در تاریخ معاصر ایران تبدیل شده است.
