The National School Meals program is expanding its reach and offerings with the opening of its first ever satellite kitchen at Urlings Primary School. This kitchen will make it easier to serve hundreds of students across several schools in the area, without having to rely solely on the main kitchen in Coolidge. Jamie J. Roacher reports.

2024 Queen of Carnival delegate Chandera Codrington continues to fulfil her passion for youth empowerment. Codrington returned to her alma mater, the Seaview Farm Primary School on her birthday on Wednesday, to inspire students. She had won the public speaking competition earlier this year. Director of the National School Meals Programme, Ezra Knowles says the initiative will expand to the sister isle, Barbuda very soon. She was speaking at an event on Wednesday in which the programme launched its first ever satellite kitchen at Urlings Primary School.

Consumers have been reacting to the price increase for eggs which took effect Monday, with many fuming about the impact on their pockets. Wholesale prices have moved to $14.00 per dozen, up from $12.00. Hilesha Humphreys reports.

Parliament's Lower House has passed legislation which will impose a 10pm to 6am curfew on minors. It is contained in the Small Charges (Amendment) Bill 2024, aimed at protecting the nation's youth and holding their parents and guardians accountable. Shannakisha Francis reports.
