Antigua and Barbuda’s Permanent Representative to the Organisation of American States, Sir Ronald Sanders has spoken out strongly against Wednesday’s coup attempt in fellow OAS member state, Bolivia. Sir Ronald spoke with ABS News from Paraguay, where he is attending an OAS General Assembly meeting. Armored vehicles rammed the doors of the Government Palace in an apparent coup attempt against President Luis Arce. The soldiers later pulled back as supporters of Arce waved Bolivian flags and cheered in a central square. The leader of the attempted coup, Juan José Zúñiga has since been arrested.
