Minister for Sports, Hon. Daryll Matthew has expressed his delight at seeing the emerging athletic talent on display at the Inter-schools Track & Field Championships over the weekend.

The Boys and Girls of Princess Margaret School successfully defended their titles in the Cool & Smooth Intrschools Track & Field Championships over the weekend. Sharife Sergeant reports.

United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken has announced fresh funds to assist Haiti, which is reeling from a deepening socio-political crisis. Blinken made the announcement while attending a high-level Caricom meeting in Jamaica on Monday. Most of the assistance will be provided by the Department of Defense for the multi-national support mission to Haiti.

Antigua and Barbuda is hosting Chiefs of Immigration and Comptrollers of Customs for a special meeting. The officials are discussing a uniformed border security strategy ahead of the T20 world cup to be jointly hosted in the West Indies and United States in June. Briana Anthony reports.

The countdown is on to Antigua’s hosting of the 4th Conference on Small Island Developing Sates, with the youth arm of the event launched on Monday.
