Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne says additional funds will be provided this week to expedite the completion of the Boys’ Training School. The announcement comes as part of continuing efforts to tackle delinquent behaviour among the nation's youth, an issue which continues to cause widespread concern. The head of government provided the update during the Browne and Browne Show on Pointe FM over the weekend.

Efforts are continuing to secure compensation for former policy-holders of collapsed insurance companies – British American Insurance Company, BAICO, and Colonial Life Insurance Company, CLICO. The Monetary Council of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank received a report from the core committee on insurance, during the 107th meeting in St Kitts last week. Chairman of the ECCB Monetary Council, Camillo Gonsalves praises the role of Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne in advocating for the interests of former policy-holders in the sub-region.
