Motorcyclist Becomes First NP Traffic Fatality Asst. Supt. Demetria Capron says a man was traveling west on John F. Kennedy Drive around 4:15pm when he lost control of his motorcycle, collided with the median and was thrown off his bike. He died on the scene.
DOUBLE SHOOTING UPDATE: A man in his twenties is dead and another one is in critical condition in hospital following a double shooting in Pinewood Gardens. Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings says the victim flew in from Freeport to attend the funeral of a relative who was killed at the end of last year.

Aquatics and Athletic Stadium Repairs On Track for Upcoming Int’l Events With less than 10 weeks until The Bahamas hosts the 2024 CARIFTA Aquatics Championships, Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture Mario Bowleg says in four to six weeks, the Betty Kelly Kenning Aquatics Center may be in its final stages of repair. He also assures that repairs on the new T.A. Robinson Stadium are on track.
