Moradores del residencial, Colinas del Arroyo Primero, en Santo Domingo Norte, denunciaron que temen que sus viviendas se inunden nuevamente, debido a la instalación de un relleno en el cauce del Arroyo Yaguasa. The local farming community is reporting tonight that it did not have the best of years. That's the word from Chief Executive Officer of the Barbados Agricultural Society James Paul. He says the year was extremely difficult due to weather changes which caused a shortage in supplies. Mr. Paul also listed some of the other situations that caused challenges but applauded the industry for showing resilience this year. He says for 2024 he hopes things will be better. Mr. Paul also hopes that a state of the art vet lab can be introduced for the agricultural sector. A local charity has come forward this Christmas to give some residents of the Thelma Vaughn Memorial Home a happy holiday season. The charity is named 'Kids Helping Kids' which began in February this year.
