The Hamas-run health ministry says more than 100 Palestinians have been killed on while waiting for aid in northern Gaza on Thursday. The ministry blamed Israeli forces, while Palestinian media cited medical sources who said that Israeli forces fired at the crowd. An Israeli military source said that Israeli troops did open fire as some in the crowd moved towards them in a way that was "endangering the troops". Rarement, la boîte mail de ce magazine d’information et de défense du consommateur a reçu autant de mails que ceux des clients mécontents de cette société ou de l’une de ses innombrables sœurs : Switch, Celside, Cyrana, Sfam, Serena, Foriou, Infopresse. L’affaire Hubside est exceptionnelle par sa durée, plus de six ans, mais aussi par son emprise, des milliers de personnes concernées, et malheureusement aussi par l’incompréhensible silence et immobilisme des autorités. Face à la lenteur de la Justice et des organismes de contrôle, les Pigeons ont décidé d’agir. Jeudi 11 janvier 2024. Il est 6h33 et 13 secondes. Un autocar, floqué la veille aux couleurs du magazine belge On n’est pas des Pigeons, démarre de l’esplanade de la Confluence à Namur. Il prend la direction de Paris. Sa destination : le siège social du groupe Indexia, dont fait partie la société Hubside. Une quinzaine de leurs clients ont embarqué avec l’équipe des Pigeons. Ils ne se connaissent pas encore, mais ils ont tous un objectif commun : récupérer leur argent après avoir pratiquement tout essayé. Ils sont des milliers comme ces hommes et ces femmes à s’estimer "victimes d’escroquerie" et les montants réclamés sont parfois impressionnants. "1856 euros et 42 centimes", annonce Jennifer en lisant le montant sur son smartphone. "Plus de 9000 euros." enchaîne Benoît. "5500 euros. Avec ce montant, j’aurais pu faire pas mal de choses. J’ai 4 enfants et j’aurais préféré leur offrir des petits cadeaux ou partir avec eux en vacances et ne pas être à chaque fois stressée de me dire : "J’arrive à la fin du mois, je n’ai plus rien sur mon compte."" se désole Anne-Catherine. Mais comment tous ces gens se sont-ils fait avoir ? Le client est appâté devant une boutique par un bon pour un cadeau gratuit, une batterie externe, par exemple, pour recharger un smartphone. Une fois à l’intérieur, on tente de lui vendre une assurance, une carte privilège ou encore de la location de matériel. Différentes pratiques déloyales se succéderaient alors : 1. Signature forcée et information cachée Plusieurs anciens employés en témoignent : "Leurs techniques un peu forcées, comment proposer…, de ne pas lire toutes les conditions, rester le plus dans le flou possible pour les clients et leur offrir donc trente jours soi-disant gratuits." Le client signe une domiciliation bancaire, sans toujours s’en rendre compte. La société n’a alors plus qu’à se servir. 2. Prélèvements abusifs et avantages non perçus "On ne s’en rend pas compte. Ce sont des petits prélèvements, tout le temps, tout le temps, plus tout ce qu’on a à payer. On ne fait pas attention. On fait confiance. Ma banque a même bloqué parce qu’ils ont trouvé ça très louche." témoigne Jennifer, cliente Hubside. A ces prélèvements qui augmentent et se multiplient, s’ajoutent des avantages jamais reçus. "Pour moi, c‘est une escroquerie, parce qu’il n’y a rien qui fonctionne. Tout ce qui est promis : les chèques voyage, les Bongos, les machins, etc. Il n’y a rien, rien, rien qui aboutit." constate André, client Hubside. 3.
