In 2008, Molly Corbett moved abroad to Ireland to become a nanny after experiencing a heart-wrenching miscarriage with her ex-husband, Keith. When Molly met her boss, Jason Corbett, the two fell for each other and pursued a relationship that turned into a marriage. However, their relationship became rocky, and one day Jason was found dead at his home. Police accused Molly Corbett and her father, Thomas Martens, of beating Jason to death with a brick and a baseball bat. The two told police they were trying to defend themselves, but as police investigated the gruesome crime, they realized there was a lot more to the story.
