A jury has found two men guilty on all charges related to human smuggling in a case where a family from India froze to death in 2022. The family of four had been trying to walk across a remote stretch of the Canada-U.S. border in Manitoba during a blizzard. The temperature that day was –23 C, but the wind chill made it feel as cold as –38.
