All day yesterday and overnight, there were more relentless air attacks in the Gaza Strip mainly refugee camps that concentrated on the central part. More residential blocks were targeted directly and destroyed, creating more displaced Palestinians. Many ended up going to areas designated safe by the Israeli military in Deir al-Baleh (in central Gaza). Unfortunately, the area came under heavy bombardment and artillery shelling in the early hours of this morning. It completely shatters any sense of safety and security. The UN Security Council’s failure to pass a resolution calling unequivocally for a ceasefire in Gaza has highlighted how the international body has become “irrelevant” to resolving the war, says Tamer Qarmout, assistant professor in Public Policy at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. “When the UN was formed after the second world war, it was supposed to tackle, to prevent similar conflicts such as the one happening in Gaza,” Qarmout told Al Jazeera. “But It’s a political organisation that is controlled by powerful countries, especially those with veto power at the UN Security Council. So politics is there in every policy, little detail of the UN work. “I don’t think this war can be resolved through UN channels … The UN is becoming irrelevant, marginalised, very politicized and its mandate is being questioned now,” he added. The UN Security Council has passed a resolution demanding an increase in aid deliveries to Palestinians in Gaza who the World Health Organization say are facing the risk of starvation. رئیس دانشگاه علوم پزشکی بهشتی به تازگی گفته بین ۲ تا ۳ میلیون دختر ایرانی به اندومتریوز مبتلا هستند. به گفته زالی، این بیماری به شدت در کیفیت زندگی افراد مبتلا تاثیر می‌گذارد. آقای زالی قاعدگی‌های دردناک و طولانی و همراه با تأخیر و همچنین لکه بینی و تداخلات ادراری را از جمله نشانه‌های ابتلاء به اندومتریوز خوانده و اضافه کرده که این بیماری یک بیماری صرفا لگنی نیست و ارگان‌های دیگر را نیز درگیر می‌کند. اما نکته مهم در گزارش رئیس دانشگاه علوم پزشکی بهشتی تاثیری‌ست که آلودگی هوا بر مبتلایان به اندومتریوز می‌گذارد. به گفته او دی اکسین‌ها و ترکیبات سمی موجود در آلاینده‌ها که ممکن است از طریق مصرف چربی اشباع در مواد غذایی گوشتی وارد چرخه غذایی افراد شود، در بروز بیماری تأثیر بسزایی دارد. #Iraninternational #ایران_اینترنشنال
