World Health Day raises awareness about health issues and advocates for accessible healthcare for all. This year's theme is "My Health, my Right". It was chosen to champion the right of everyone to have access to quality health services, education, and information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent working and environmental conditions, and freedom from discrimination. Deaths related to non-communicable diseases are on the rise in South Africa. Diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and cancer are some of the highest contributing underlying causes of death. According to Professor Renata Schoeman of Stellenbosch Business School, many people struggle to take responsibility for their own health. The residential rental market has shown resilience, with low vacancies prevailing. This is one of the key findings of TPN Credit Bureau's Vacancy Survey Report for the fourth quarter of 2023.
