Tributes have been pouring in for veteran music and theatre legend Mbongeni Ngema following his death Wednesday. Ngema, best known for writing the stage play, Sarafina! was killed in a car accident in Mbizana in the Eastern Cape. In his tribute to Ngema, the University of KwaZulu-Natal's Dr Ismail Mahomed, described him as a theatre, film and music icon.
