Dozens of accused are being added to a case, accused of a billion rand tender fraud, murder, attempted murder, among other charges. With alleged 28s gang leader Ralph Stanfield, his wife Nicole Johnson, and former Cape Town Human Settlements MMC Malusi Booi, among the accused, seasoned lawyers say this poses a security risk. It’s the state’s case, that the accused actively participated in the gang's activities and this is the reason why they joined these charges.
