Africa Fashion Week Middle East is set to continue disrupting the fashion scene in 2024. Africa Fashion Week already takes place in cities such as London and Toronto, but this is only the second time it will be held in the Middle East - in Dubai. It's been nearly three months since the fire at Usindiso house in Marshalltown killed over 70 people and left others homeless. Efforts to secure alternative accommodation have seen the victims going from pillar to post. Recently some were trucked from the Hofland Park Recreation Centre in Bez Valley to Denver where they were housed in hastily constructed shacks.
