They may have been brutally murdered nearly forty years, ago but their tragic deaths will not be in vain according to Eastern Cape activists and political leaders after the reopening of the inquest into the death of the Cradock Four at the Gqeberha High Court. Fort Calata, Matthew Goniwe, Sparrow Mkhonto, and Sicelo Mhlauli were tortured, assaulted and burned to death on 27 June 1985.
