There seems to be no end in sight to the violence against women in South Africa. The City of Cape Town’s Public Emergency Communication Centre dealt with over 4,000 incidents of domestic violence between July last year and June this year. The State believes they've provided the court with sufficient evidence in the case against Sifiso Mkhwanazi. The 21-year-old was found guilty of several counts of premeditated rape, murder, and defeating the ends of justice.
