The Presidency has welcomed the swift action taken by PSIRA against the security company which was training the 95 Libyans in Mpumalanga. Spokesperson Vincent Magwenya says communication between the South African and Libyan governments has taken place. Pastor Mboro, his son and a bodyguard have appeared briefly in the Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court. The case has been postponed to the 16th of August. This is in connection with a video of the group threatening teachers with weapons at Matshidiso Primary School in Katlehong. A state witness in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial will be taking the stand again after the court gave his recall the nod. Data analyst Lambertus Steyn will clarify discrepancies between his cellphone records and those of Vodacom. This relates to two calls between one of the accused and singer Kelly Khumalo. Last year, Steyn revealed that accused number five, Fisokuhle Ntuli, called Khumalo twice in the lead-up to Meyiwa's murder. But Vodacom records don’t show this. Criminals are targeting churches as a way of getting quick cash in Nelson Mandela Bay Metro. Assemblies Of God in New Brighton is the latest church that was robbed. The legal battle between former president Jacob Zuma and President Cyril Ramaphosa is far from over. The high Court in Johannesburg on Tuesday postponed Zuma’s private prosecution bid to February next year.
