City Power has officially started its electricity cut-off operation campaign. It resumed the programme on Wednesday morning, at Kanana informal settlement near Rabie Ridge. The utility says this is necessary to help reduce the load on the network and to safeguard electricity infrastructure. That's after an alleged racist Whatsapp group was created by white pupils where they mocked their black counterparts. 12 pupils were suspended in the aftermath and eight of them are prefects.
