Environment Minister, Dion George, says coal energy will be with us for some time to come. He says he is worried about job losses if coal is phased out. Parents at Noordgesig Secondary School in Soweto are frustrated with overcrowding in the classrooms. They are demanding more mobile classrooms. Inspectors shut down 13 classrooms that contained asbestos. And several other classes were damaged by a fire last year. Bereaved families came together to mourn the loss of 11 pupils who died in a scholar transport crash in Carletonville last week. The minibus taxi transporting the pupils overturned and caught fire after being hit by a bakkie from behind.
