Exporters and transporters at three borders of Busia, Malaba and Lwakhakha are suffering losses due to delays occasioned by internet disruptions on the Kenya Revenue Authority network at the common frontier with Uganda. ce in Kiryandongo are holding a one Severino Kaheru, until yesterday, an active member of the district service commission on allegations of extorting 2 million shillings from a would be employee for a job. According to authorities in Kiryandongo, the area district local government advertised a vacancy for an enrolled nurse, and the would-be employee Rebecca applied for the job, before she was asked for a bribe, before she could get the job.She reported the matter to the police after she was denied the job, even after paying part of the bribe to Kaheru. President Museveni resumed his countrywide wealth creation tour with a rally in the Kakumiro district today. The president, who had taken a break to campaign for the Kisoro district woman MP by-election, returned to the trail, with a call to the locals to grow more coffee as the move towards value addition gains traction. The president also confirmed that the government would soon distribute more coffee seedlings to farmers there to raise their crop yields.
