The Uganda badminton league season 2 entered its match day 3 of action with games being played at Lugogo indoor stadium. Among the clubs that played is CFK badminton academy that played the first ties of this year's edition. The club that signed talented players like Mwambu Kenneth from Mbogo High school started with victory after winning all their games for the day. The Cfk patriots badminton club defeated Iganga based club Nawandala secondary school 5-0 before defeating Sharing badminton club 4-1 in what was termed as the tie of the day.
Tens of hundreds of Bamasaba people were on Saturday treated to a thrilling Kadodi Karnival; an annual event that aims at showcasing the Bamasaba culture to the rest of world. The event that was organized by Kimalu foundation attracted revelers from far and wide with some foreigners describing a rich tourism attracting activity.

St Julian High School, Seeta Campus has beaten Amus College by 3-0 in the National Schools Boys Football Championships to claim their first trophy in the competition, as it ended today at Masaka Secondary School playground. The school links its success to good preparations and is now looking foward to the East African Schools championships. The 88th guild at Makerere has been crowned champions of the Makerere University Guild League that climaxed today at the Makerere University Rugby Grounds. They captured the league title with 250 points. These were collected between August last year when the second edition kicked off and today. The Minister of State for Mineral Phionah Nyamutooro graced the closing ceremonies today. The minister, who is an alumnus of the university, was vice president in the 81st guild. Previously, Tisai Island in Kumi district has been a hard-to-reach area. Travelers to the island have been using canoes to maneuver through thick papyrus covering the water. This is now history after the Ministry of Agriculture constructed a murram road, which connects the Island to the mainland.
