Uganda cancer institute in collaboration with Ministry of Health has received essential equipment and consumables from KOFIH with efforts to enhance cancer care service delivery in Uganda. The Executive Director of Cancer Institute, Jackson Orem, said that the equipment will enhance cancer centers in Mbarara and other regions in especially tackling cancer in women. Uganda cancer institute in collaboration with Ministry of Health implemented a National Cancer Management and capacity Building project in Uganda, with support from the Korean Foundation for International healthcare- KOFIH to last for 3 years.

Minister of State for Lands, Dr. Sam Mayanja, has ordered Police to arrest World Answer Church International pastor, Jeremaya Ssebakigye, for trespass, forceful entry to property, and destroying banana plantation and crops with tree plantation at Katale village in Sseguku, Wakiso District. Dr. Mayanja made a locus visit after residents complained to RDC, Justine Mbabazi, who sought the Minister's intervention into the matter.

The Uganda Cooperative Alliance Limited (UCA), an apex umbrella body of all registered cooperatives in the country, has set aside 150 billion shillings for the re-establishment of a cooperative bank. The Uganda Cooperative Alliance General Secretary, Simon Asiimwe disclosed that they are currently doing a month-long regional consultation with cooperative groups on the planned move. Authorities in Hoima City are set to establish an ordinance aimed at getting rid of old dilapidated buildings and regulate the construction of storeyed buildings in the area. President Museveni has highlighted the impact of African weaknesses on the rise of imperialism, stressing the need for self-reflection and unity among Africans. The president, who was hosting a delegation of African parliamentarians, drawn from 20 countries, said Africa's vulnerabilities had allowed imperialists to exploit the continent. State for Water Minister Aisha Ssekindi has directed police to arrest those involved in vandalising water equipment, which has paralysed water supply income parts of the country. This follows concerns about the destruction of water pipes and meters among others. The call came during the passing out of 543 graduates, who specialized as plumbers, and technicians among others from Ggaba vocational skilling development facility. Amus College rebounded from a round of sixteen loss, thanks to their petition against Jinja Progressive Secondary School, to reach their first-ever Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association games football finals. In doing so, they eliminated defending champions St Mary’s Secondary School Kitende. The first semifinal of the day, played on a wet surface, ended goalless in normal time before Amus won the spot kicks 9 to 8. The second semifinal, which started after 6 pm, saw St Julian Secondary School enter their maiden cup finals as well after eliminating Bukedea Comprehensive School on spot kicks, with normal time ending goalless. The community around the Lwamanja refugee camp in Kamwenge district will benefit from a 4 billion shillings sports complex funded by the World Bank to provide recreational opportunities and develop sports talent among refugees and the host population. The complex includes a football pitch, basketball and volleyball courts, a jogging track, pavilions, and multiple restrooms.
