CARE International Uganda in partnership with Community Empowerment for Rural Development (CEFORD) are some of the non-governmental Organizations collaborating with government in the fight against GBV through their five-year Women and Youth Resilience Project (WAYREP).

The Mufti of Uganda, Sheikh Shaban Ramadan Mubajje, has urged financial institutions, including banks and lending companies, to introduce Islamic Banking. This move aims to help Muslims align their banking practices with their beliefs while fostering equal social development.
Residents of Buhimba sub-county can now access basic services like markets, schools and health facilities following rehabilitation of a 6.5 kilometer road that connects villages of Kitole, Rwemparaki, Bujarya and Kijwanga. Dan Atuhura Matovu, a resident of Rwemparaki, says that the road connects to Bujarya Health Center, Bujarya primary school, Jolly gates Primary School, and Bujarya Market.
Passenger service vehicles plying Kasese-Bwera route were barred from loading passengers, hence affecting traffic along Kasese-Bwera Highway. The 11th Edition of Kabaka’s Birthday run has attracted thousands of enthusiasts to this palace in Bulange Mengo, where thousands of people participated.
