St Cyprian High School has been crowned champions of the boys' basketball at the Secondary School games qualifiers of Mukono district. The School beat off competition from Seeta High School A level campus with a 31-29 points victory in a final that was played last night at Seeta High A level campus in Mukono. Under the stewardship of new coach, John Omondi the school is among the three that have qualified for the upcoming Freah Diary Secondary School games due this coming month in Ndejje Luwero. A Policy analyst has welcomed the latest progress in fuel importation, expressing a lot of confidence in a deal that will see Uganda National Oil Company, becoming the sole importer of fuel into the country. The Stanbic Uganda golf club monthly mug for the month of march held yesterday at the Uganda golf course was a kick start for the easter festivities over 400 golfers took park in this amateur tournament. Drani bob with a 68 net was the overall winner for the day-long event on the par-72 course and he received a mug and a voucher. Other winners who got mugs were israel arinatwe, mutesi Lydia, tashobya susan Gurjet singh and others all receiving mugs. This is the second monthly mug for Uganda golf course under the new captain Rukundo.
The Coordinator, Patriotic league of Uganda, Tooro region, Henry Basaliza Mutegeki, has appreciated the president of the republic of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for appointing General Muhoozi Keinerugaba to the position of Chief of Defense Forces. According to Dr. Kaziimba Mugalu, land grabbers have turned their attention to unprotected church land, with some of the perpetrators coming from within the church itself. He has also called on Ugandans to seek heaven’s blessings instead of striving to secure earthly possessions, which they will leave behind when they die. The government has started construction of so-called security roads in Agago district, at a cost of five hundred million shillings. This follows a series of incidents where warriors from the neighboring Karamoja region have been invading the area to raid livestock since 2019.
