According to the Justice Needs and Satisfaction Survey Report 2024 launched by the Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL) in partnership with Uganda's Justice, Law, and Order Sector (JLOS), only 10% of Uganda's population seeks resolution for their legal problems through courts of law. This stark statistic underscores a significant gap in the acquisition of justice for citizens. The report, unveiled by Principal Judge Dr. Flavian Nzeija on behalf of Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo at Mestil Hotel in Kampala, sheds light on the pressing legal issues faced by Ugandans and the efforts made by JLOS to address these concerns.
The number of students seeking to study abroad in the higher institutions of learning is growing steadily. The director Amikale, one of the international education consultants, Mercy Mumo points out that her organization handles between 150-200 students annually depending on the performance at A’level.

The State Minister for Ethics and Integrity, Rose Lilly Akello, has urged Ugandans to desist from corruption because the vice hinders service delivery in the country. Akello made these remarks during an ethics training in Karenga District on how to improve service delivery and fight corruption. The founder and Chief Executive Officcer Capital solutions limited Joyce Tamale said the 2 years initiative looks at supporting young women between the age of 18-30 years ffrom semi urban, rural areas, refugees and PWDS. The initiative also contributes to sustainable development goals and National development plan 3. The First lady also minister for Education and sports Janet Kataha Museveni has urged women in Ntungamo District to take advantage of Parish Development Model to chase poverty in their home steads.
