Political realism is frequently criticized as a theoretical tradition that amounts to little more than a rationalization of the status quo and an apology for power. While corruption is commonly understood in behavioral terms, the dominance of political and economic approaches has hindered the integration of relevant psychological insights into the (anti-)corruption mainstream, causing a rift between the examination of social determinants and their assessment within a process of individual decision-making. Due to the ongoing row in the opposition's biggest political party springing from the parliamentary exhibition, the present discussion with Alex Brandon Kintu - MP, Kagoma North County and spokesperson, NRM Parliamentary Caucus, and Twaha Kagabo - MP, Bukoto County South, Lwengo, offers a model that combines moral, social, and political factors, exploring the cognitive processes behind corruption tolerance. Operationalized here as attitudinal, intended, and behavioral responses to a bribery event. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda

Political players and scholars of politics have rejected a proposal to revert Uganda from a presidential system to a parliamentary system of governance. A parliamentary system implies that a political party that gets the majority of Members of Parliament forms a government, and its leader becomes the head of government. Dan Wandera Ogalo mooted the proposal for the parliamentary system, arguing that it would deepen accountability and democratic governance. However, Secretary-General of the National Unity Platform, Louis Rubongoya, says the problem is not the electoral law but the impunity of people who hold political power. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
