The Chief Magistrates' court at Buganda Road has further remanded a 27-year-old tik-toker Ibarahim Musana to Luzira prison for posting and sharing information seeking to ridicule and promote hostility against the person of the Kabaka of Buganda and President Museveni. This after he was arrested over the weekend, following a complaint raised by the Buganda kingdom. Residents of Nyarubaare Parish in Ntungamo district are constructing a police post on a contested piece of land in a bid to save it. The contested land has a community playground that was established in 1948 but has been claimed by members of a nearby family since 2019. A group of Karamojong mothers, along with their babies, who were apprehended by KCCA enforcement on the streets of Kampala towards NAM and G77 + Chain summits, have been sentenced to one month imprisonment or one month of community service in Napaka district. This decision came after they changed their pleas to guilty for the offenses brought against them during the case at City Hall Magistrates Court.
