Four people have been confirmed dead after their boat capsized on Lake Victoria. The boat was coming from Kirongo landing site in Buvuma, as it was heading to Kiyindi landing site in Buikwe district. It is alleged that the boat was overloaded with silver fish, five people, four cows, and a motorcycle. One of the survivors said that the incident happened when the handlers lost control of the cows, leading the boat to capsize. Ssezibwa Police spokesperson Hellen Butoto says further investigations are underway. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda

Experts in special needs education have appealed to the Uganda National Examinations Board to set special exams for deaf learners or conduct oral assessments for them using sign language. This follows the poor performance of deaf learners in the Uganda Certificate Education 2023 exams. Steven Katongole, the Headteacher of Wakiso Secondary School for the Deaf, highlighted that deaf learners struggle with the interpretation of questions, as they respond in sign language. As NOBERT ATUKUNDA reports, this is at variance with how able-bodied learners interpret information. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
