A fourteen Year Old Primary Seven Finalist has won a four Year Scholarship after confidently reciting all the 136 districts of Uganda. Angel Charity Asako, a former Pupil of Homeland Nursery and Primary School in Serere District attributes this to talent and school knowledge. State Minister for Fisheries Hellen Adoa has selflessly gifted her with a Scholarship at Halcyon High School found in Soroti District.

Government has maintained its stance on restricting the movement of animals from areas affected by foot-and-mouth disease. Currently, over thirty-five districts in the country are under quarantine, where animals such as cows, goats, and pigs cannot be sold at markets. This restriction has led to an increase in meat prices for consumers.
