Launched in Kampala on Wednesday, the unveiling of the new pressure group saw up to eight cabinet ministers in attendance, as well as senior NRM officials, including the party secretary-general and a vice president for eastern Uganda. The rising cost of education has prompted calls for government regulation. This is due to the high cost of school fees, which is the main reason for pupils dropping out of school. Furthermore, household incomes are declining following the stalled post-pandemic economic recovery. Considering how critical education is for social mobility, the cost of education is exclusionary and inhibits development amid deepening economic inequality. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
