Mismanagement and lack of enough high-profile games have seen the stadium go into a dilapidated state with encroachers and some farmers have turned it into a grazing ground. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda

Opposition MPs led by the leader of the Opposition in Parliament Joel Ssenyonyi have accused the government of of selectively applying the law. This follows an explanation by the army saying the Kitgum District Woman MP Lillian Aber has no case to answer for wearing a UPDF uniform. However, Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja says the issue has been handled by the army and opposition MPs should not blow the matter out of proportion because most of them who wear red berets, including Ssenyonyi, have not been arrested. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda

Authorities in Kikuube District are urging the Central government to increase funding for the health sector. With a population of over five hundred thousand people and twenty health facilities, they argue that the current allocation of four hundred million shillings per quarter is insufficient. They also emphasize the need for a district hospital, as they only have two health facilities at the level of health center IV, namely Kikuube and Kyangwali health centers. Peter Banura, the Kikuube district Chairperson LC-5, highlights that the district is overwhelmed by the influx of people due to ongoing oil and gas activities, with many relying on their medical facilities for treatment. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda

The National Meteorological Training School in Entebbe is struggling with under-funding and under-staffing, according to its administrators. The only meteorological school, which is adjacent to State House Entebbe, has gone 10 years without holding any graduation ceremony due to lack of funding. State Minister for Higher Education, JC Muyingo, says the school has been ignored for its intended purpose, but the government will soon increase its funding to improve standards.
