Officials at the Embassy of South Sudan in Uganda have clarified allegations regarding the abduction and detention of South Sudanese nationals by the Ugandan government. This clarification comes after a video circulated information alleging that South Sudanese nationals were abducted by Ugandan officials on Friday, February 2nd, 2014, at a gym in Kansanga. According to Immigration Chief Brig. Gen. Police in Amudat district is investigating circumstances under which four people who were travelling in motor vehicle Reg.No.UBP 601Q Toyota Harrier were shot dead by unknown Assailants on Sunday 4th February, 2024 at around 0330pm along Lemusui Road in Sub- County Amudat district. According police in Amudat , the deceased are Umaru Binyota, mukwere 34years old, Mugwere by tribe, business man, resident of Namusi Mbale Northern Division, Mbale City.
