President Museveni has appealed to dairy farmers to put more emphasis on producing casein and powdered milk in order to benefit from the lucrative international market. The President made the appeal while meeting a group of dairy farmers from Kazo and Kiruhura districts at Karo Primary School in Nshwere, Kiruhura District.

The initiative kicked off with property owners on Kampala Road and Entebbe Road taking the lead in painting their houses greening and improving frontages, aligning with a notice issued by the KCCA.

The National Coordination Office for the Prevention of Trafficking in Persons at the Ministry of Internal Affairs has revealed that, since January this year, 21 Ugandans who were trafficked have been rescued from captivity in Myanmar.
