Political and religious leaders are worried of the increasing numebrs of teenage mothers in Zirobwe Luweero District. According to the statistics from Zirobwe Healthy Centre III, over 500 expectant mothers register every month at the facility of these 20% are Teenagers.

The Parliamentary Committee of Finance has applauded the performance of SACCOs in Mubende District which are supported by government through the Microfinance support Centre. Despite the progress, beneficiaries of SACCOs appealed to government to review the law and regulations that govern Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority.
The Deputy Resident City Commissioner of Lubaga Division, Anderson Burora has issued restrictions on land grabbing, security vigilance, and road use ahead of the Christmas season. Burora cautioned landlords against evicting and closing the facilities of their occupants during this festive season. RCC Burora also urged law enforcement agencies and authorities to consider and take note of the guidelines.
Kampala's councilors, representing the city's five divisions, conducted a roads tour in the Non-Aligned Movement corridor to evaluate the progress following a recent council resolution. The roads inspected include mukwano , Kabalagala, Auto spur drainage spot, among others.

Busitema University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Aksa Group Canada, a seasoned infrastructure developer, to design, construct, and finance the construction of a teaching hospital at the Faculty of Health Sciences in Mbale and a Science Park. The Kikuube District Security Committee has cleared the reopening of Bweera Miracle Center Church in Kyangwali Sub-county, which had been closed for more than a year due to clashes between residents and church members. Last year, one person was killed during the clashes. Some residents accused the church leader, Pastor John Baguma, of having a hand in the death of their colleague. Grasshopper harvesters in Masindi District, under their association of Masindi Basenene Enterprises, are facing significant losses this year as the grasshopper season has yielded poor harvests. This has resulted in financial setbacks, pushing them into debt. Many of these harvesters had borrowed money from money lenders and banks to invest in the business. The Management of Kilembe Mines Golf course in Western Uganda hopes to revive national activities on the course next year following successful efforts to get rid of encroachers on its land. Established in the 1950s by Canadian cooper miners, Kilembe Mines golf course set a standard as one of the best golf courses in East Africa. However, with the collapse of the mining company, the 18-hole course started its downward spiral into oblivion.
