The Confederation of African Football and the Federation of Uganda Football Associations have organized a safe stadium initiative training programme at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole. The three-day event that has started this Tuesday seeks to standardise safety and security operations across confederation of African football member associations. The participants included representatives from the members of FUFA, local security agencies and stadium management teams.

The Ministry of Information and Communications Technology and National Guidance will need 19.2 billion shillings to revamp POSTA Uganda Limited. This was revealed when the State Minister for ICT, Godfrey Kabbyanga, appeared before the ADHOC Committee set up by Parliament to further investigate the operations of the entity. Makerere University says its new student work scheme is now oversubscribed, with more learners seeking opportunities. In May this year, Makerere University launched a work scheme aimed at supporting financially struggling students with tuition, accommodation, meals, and other expenses. This followed the decision by Makerere University's 153rd council, during its sitting on October 6, 2021, to approve the policy. The National Catch Ball Federation is advocating for the inclusion of the sport in the national curriculum to enable young learners to participate. The Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court says that it is unable to conduct the full trial of LRA rebel leader Joseph Kony if the elusive rebel leader is not arrested. Leonie Van Braun, the Senior Trial Lawyer in the Office of the Prosecutor says failing to arrest Kony means that the court cannot move to a full trial without him in the dock. Ministry of Water and Environment says the continuous pollution and depletion of the environment is making their effort to extend clean water services to more parts of the country more difficult.
