The Confederation of African Football and the Federation of Uganda Football Associations have organized a safe stadium initiative training programme at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole. The three-day event that has started this Tuesday seeks to standardise safety and security operations across confederation of African football member associations. The participants included representatives from the members of FUFA, local security agencies and stadium management teams.

The Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court says that it is unable to conduct the full trial of LRA rebel leader Joseph Kony if the elusive rebel leader is not arrested.
