National Awards Presentation Ceremony 2024

Dr. Patrick Herminie portrays his fulfillment, gratitude and satisfaction over the 60 years of the existence of United Seychelles. Dr. Herminie goes on to mention how US has always believed in social justice, providing various opportunities, putting Seychellois best interest at heart and many other positive impacts. Dr. Herminie proudly states that “in my political career, I will say that this is my biggest accomplishment”.

“As united people, nothing can stop us and this is a time in our life to celebrate. We are supposed to be proud, because without a beginning, we would not have a today nor a tomorrow” shares Dr. Marvin Fanny. Mr. Fanny reflects on the past where it all began, from the vision of President France Albert Rene, who fought for our independence and to remove his people from misery. Dr. Fanny explains the concept ‘Nouvo US’, which is a modern take that will collaborate a new generation of politicians with the guidance of those with prior experience, to come up with a new way of implementing, working and vision for its people.
