A very matured show from two media legends! TAKE AWAY FROM AYV HOT SEAT. AYV’s Mamaja Jalloh ( DJ Base ) and BBC’s Umaru Fofanah speaking on MEDIA & NATIONAL ISSUES. ✍️Engineers, doctors, nurses and lawyers spend many years doing PIRATICAL training whilst studying in the university in order to be more grounded in their professional development, but journalists sometimes spend only few weeks internship ( that’s not enough). ✍️It took Umaru Fofanah 10 years to secure a small old car and he is still renting a house in Freetown, but some journalists today want to get rich over night at the expense of their conscience and forgetting to serve the people. ✍️Both Umaru and DJ Base have called for a RESET of the system, and encouraged fellow journalists to focus on serving the people and NOT political gains. Journalism is a patriotic NATIONAL SERVICE!
