The FDC faction that operates in Katonga is to join National Unity Platform under their umbrella of forces of change on 20th December to pray for the country. They are looking at praying for unemployment and labour export, drug stock outs in hospitals among other challenges. While addressing the media at katonga, the acting secretary General Harold Kaijja also called of religious leaders to spread the gospel of peaceful transition as they preach during festive season. The faction of forum for democratic change party in katonga has updated the media about their ongoing exercise of structure building across the country and so far they have covered 50% of the districts. The party has also issues a Christmas message where they urged those who have plenty to share with those who do not have. The acting secretary general Harold Kaijja encourages members of the public to make these celebrations simple by desisting from bad behaviour.

L'Assemblée nationale tient la deuxième séance publique de la deuxième session ordinaire de l'année 2023 L'Assemblée nationale a tenu, ce lundi 18 décembre 2023, la deuxième séance publique de la deuxième session ordinaire de l'année 2023, conformément à l'article 22 du règlement intérieur. Sous la présidence de Son Excellence Monsieur Dileita Mohamed Dileita, Président de l'Assemblée Nationale, et en présence du Premier Ministre Monsieur Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed, ainsi que des parlementaires et membres du gouvernement, l'ordre du jour de cette séance portait sur les points suivants : 1. Projet de loi portant nouveau statut général des fonctionnaires ; 2. Projet de loi L portant approbation des comptes financiers de l'Agence de réhabilitation urbaine et du logement social (ARULOS) pour l'exercice 2022 ; 3. Projet de loi L portant approbation des comptes financiers de l'exercice 2022 du Diwan des Biens Wakfs ; 4. Projet de loi L portant adoption des comptes financiers de l'Agence Nationale des Personnes Handicapées (ANPH) de l'année 2022 ; 5. Projet de loi L portant approbation des comptes financiers de la Société Internationale des Hydrocarbures de Djibouti (SIHD) pour l'exercice 2022. Après le mot d'ouverture prononcé par le président de l'Assemblée nationale, celui-ci a successivement invité les différents rapporteurs à prendre la parole pour présenter leurs rapports sur les projets de loi qui avaient été préalablement étudiés en commission.
