The question should be, is their renewables plan as cheap as the Albanese government is promising?” Mr Fawcett told Sky News host James Morrow. “Australians should be seeking scrutiny as to why we can’t have an open fact-based debate around how we do calculate what’s in the nation’s best interest.”

LNP MP Phil Thompson has weighed in on who would win a golf match between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. It comes as the former US president challenged Biden to another face-to-face debate and a round of golf. “Joe Biden can’t walk on a stage without falling over, or up a flight of stairs, or ride a push bike,” Mr Thompson said. “So my money would be behind Donald Trump to absolutely walk the floor with him in a golf match.”
