Former US intelligence officer and author Rebekah Koffler says Donald Trump – just like the Pentagon – knows that Russia’s war is “unwinnable” for Ukraine. “My intelligence analysis reveals that there’s no military pass to victory for Ukraine,” she told Sky News host James Morrow. “The reason why there’s no military pass to victory for Ukraine is because the combat potential of Russia just overwhelmingly outweighs that of Ukraine’s.”

The sinking of the Bayesian superyacht, an 80-metre symbol of opulence and engineering marvel, has become one of the biggest maritime mysteries in recent history. The luxurious superyacht sank in a matter of minutes, resulting in the tragic loss of seven lives, including prominent figures like Jonathan Bloomer and Mike Lynch. Last week, autopsies revealed four of the seven victims in the Bayesian superyacht wreck were trapped alive in the ship's cabins as it sank off Sicily. NYC lawyer Chris Morvillo, his wife Neda, Morgan Stanley's Jonathan Bloomer, and wife Judy died of asphyxiation due to "dry drowning" from toxic air pockets. No water was found in the lungs of the four victims, revealing they did not drown by seawater. Investigators are still searching for answers, with theories ranging from mechanical failure to sabotage, but no definitive cause has been found. As the mystery deepens, the families of the victims are left grappling with their grief and the unanswered questions surrounding the tragedy.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that allowing Ukraine to strike Russian territory with Western long-range missiles would mean NATO's direct involvement in the conflict. Speaking with Russian state TV on Thursday, President Putin warned this move would change the "very essence" of the conflict. Ukraine has been requesting long-range US ATACMS and British Storm Shadow missiles for months to limit Russia’s attack capabilities. "So this is not a question of allowing the Ukrainian regime to strike Russia with these weapons or not," Putin said. "It is a question of deciding whether or not NATO countries are directly involved in a military conflict." Putin claimed that NATO personnel would need to handle satellite targeting and missile programming, as Kyiv does not have the capability. This, he argued, would lead to NATO's direct involvement in the conflict. He concluded Russia would respond with "appropriate decisions" based on the heightened threat. "And if this is so, then, bearing in mind the change in the very essence of this conflict, we will make appropriate decisions based on the threats that will be created for us," he said. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken left Ukraine after unveiling new support for Kyiv but without agreeing to Ukraine’s request for long-range missile strikes into Russia.

'The Megyn Kelly Show' host Megyn Kelly reveals some of Kamala Harris’ lies during the ABC presidential debate. The clash between former US president Donald Trump and Vice President on Wednesday marked their first-ever debate together, and possibly their last, before the November presidential election. “Her lies were all over the place, she started the debate by saying you're gonna hear a lot of lies tonight and indeed that was true, but they were from her,” Ms Kelly told Sky News host Paul Murray. “Just off the top of my head, she lied in the way she kept saying he's responsible for Project 2025, even though he explicitly said that he has nothing to do with it. “She lied by calling these Trump abortion bans in which he repeatedly said he doesn't want the federal government to have anything to do with this.”
