JD Vance attempted to confront Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz on the tarmac of a Wisconsin airport on Wednesday. The Republican vice presidential nominee took the opportunity to call out his competitor to a group of reporters as their planes happened to land at the same time. Donald Trump's running mate began walking closer to Air Force Two and told reporters he wanted to come by and "get a good look at the plane". "I just wanted to check out my future plane, but I also wanted to go say hello to the Vice President and ask her why Kamala Harris refuses… why does she refuse to answer questions from the media?"

‘The Megyn Kelly Show’ host Megyn Kelly has suggested there could be additional “negative reporting” about US Vice President Kamala Harris’ history which the public has yet to see. “She’s never been vetted, why would anybody vet her – she was put on the ticket by Joe Biden just to check a box,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray. “Done. It was over. Nobody had any interest in vetting her, and they knew she wasn’t a serious pick. “I think there’s going to be more coming out about her.”

‘The Megyn Kelly Show’ host Megyn Kelly says Donald Trump attacking the Georgia Governor to “settle an old personal score” is “stupid” for him to do. “It’s just stupid – it’s Trump’s narcissism that makes that kind of a decision,” Ms Kelly told Sky News host Paul Murray. “You’ve got to find a way to check your ego, but I don’t know who can speak to Trump in a way that he would hear that message.”

Shadow Home Affairs Minister James Paterson has criticised the Albanese government’s handling following an inflammatory tweet made by Iran’s Ambassador to Australia. Ahmad Sadeghi on Saturday posted a series of messages supporting the militant group Hamas and labelling the destruction of Israel "a heavenly and divine promise". Mr Paterson claimed that the Albanese government needed to take a stronger approach than just a “mild rhetorical rebuke”. “Well, the Prime Minister has said that what the Iranian ambassador said is anti-Semitic. The Foreign Minister has said that they are repugnant, and yet what are they actually doing about it other than the most mild rhetorical rebuke from a DFAT bureaucrat,” Mr Paterson said. “There've been no consequences for the ambassador. “There has to be meaningful consequences; otherwise, it will continue.”

This comes as Treasurer Jim Chalmers maintains Labor’s $300 energy bill subsidies are not inflationary despite the Reserve Bank claiming otherwise. “In terms of the Reserve Bank putting rates on hold, what I’ve read is that, apparently, it’s because of the government’s spending,” Ms Le told Sky News Australia. “I’m not an economist, but I can tell you this … people are struggling; people are telling me again the costs … have increased.”

US Attorney-General William Barr says the abuse of the criminal justice process has been “underway for a while” in the United States. “It was instigated by the left and they use it as a political tool,” Mr Barr told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “It’s not enough to disagree with your adversary, they have to be labelled and established as a criminal. “It’s part of the anything goes tactics of the left; anything goes to win power.”

US Attorney-General William Barr has described Kamala Harris as part of a group of “lefty loons” who “refuse to talk”. Kamala Harris has chosen Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate for the upcoming United States election. “One of my main concerns is I don't think she is a clear thinker ... she doesn’t speak clearly,” Mr Barr told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “She doesn’t have any strong principles other than sort of the far-left agenda that is essential to have if you’re going to get the nomination for president from the Democratic Party.”
