Vice President Kamala Harris has become the “person of the moment” and her life has probably never been better since President Joe Biden endorsed her as the Democrat nominee, according to Sky News host Chris Kenny. “This wave of support for Harris is entirely to be expected, the big question is how long it lasts,” Mr Kenny said. “Can the Democrats ride the enthusiasm all the way to November? Or will voters get a good look at Harris's record and see what the Vice President is really like?”

Left-wing organisation ‘Black Lives Matter’ (BLM) has accused the Democratic party of being a “party of hypocrites”. The organisation came out against the Democrat’s installation of Kamala Harris as the party’s presidential nominee. Last week Joe Biden announced via X his decision to drop out of the 2024 election and endorsed Vice President Harris as his successor. Harris’ quick rise as the Democratic presumptive nominee has not sat well with BLM, with the group heavily criticising the Democrats’ decision in a scathing statement. “We do not live in a dictatorship. Delegates are not oligarchs,” they wrote. “Installing Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee and an unknown vice president without any public voting process would make the modern Democratic Party a party of hypocrites.”

Strategic Analysis director Michael Shoebridge slams the Labor government for its decision not to integrate weapons on the locally developed Ghost Bat drone platform. “This was supposed to be the first combat aircraft designed and built in Australia for 50 years, it is now not going to be a combat aircraft,” Mr Shoebridge told Sky News Australia. “A big single bet on a really expensive per unit system by getting eight of them for $800 million, and it turns out the Americans won’t let us integrate weapons onto it, so the thing is a busted flush.” “What it is is an empty platform with a small payload.”

Sky News host Paul Murray says the media is going to try and go “full Obama” on Kamala Harris. The US Vice President has surpassed the number of delegates needed to become the Democratic candidate. “It’s important the Republicans don’t push too hard but have to push back,” Ms Murray said on Tuesday night. “Why? Because all of the media that has been so embarrassed is now all in – they’re going to try and go full Obama on Harris, but even Obama knows she ain’t Obama, which is why, of course, he hasn’t endorsed her yet.”
