Mounting international outrage, following a deadly airstrike that killed at least seven aid workers in Gaza. The victims included Palestinians, as well as citizens from Australia, Poland, the UK, the US and Canada. The workers were killed in two armoured vehicles of the World Central Kitchen. They were leaving a warehouse after unloading more than 100 tonnes of food aid brought to Gaza by sea. The organisation said they had coordinated their movements with the Israeli military. The IDF has pledged to hold a probe into the incident. Alex Cadier reports from Tel Aviv.

For the first time, more people in Southeast Asia favour an alignment with China over the US, should they be forced to choose between the major powers. This, according to a report by the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute. The report said better trade and investment relations may be a driving force behind China's jump in favour. However, distrust in China has also ticked higher. Over half the respondents have little to no confidence in Beijing to contribute to global peace, security, prosperity and governance. Most respondents think China's economic and military power could be used to threaten their country's interests and sovereignty.

HDB resale prices have risen 1.7 per cent in the first quarter, higher than any three-monthly point in 2023. HDB’s flash estimates also show that up to Mar 27, more than 6,900 units were sold, a 5.5 per cent increase in volume over the same period last year.
