More than seven in 10 young Singaporeans in their 20s to early 30s see being single, unmarried and childless as more acceptable these days. Yet, personal aspirations to be parents remain strong. The Monetary Authority of Singapore has kept monetary policy unchanged for the third consecutive meeting. This is in line with market expectations. The central bank has also lowered its overall inflation forecast for the year. It is now forecasting that overall inflation will come in between 2.5% and 3.5%, down from the previous range of 3% to 4%.
