An AI model will help doctors deduce whether the patient is suffering from a viral or bacterial form of the illness, which will inform their decisions. Countries as far as the Middle East and Europe are looking to Singapore to develop regulatory frameworks for alternative proteins, especially to certify such meats as halal. This is as Singapore leads in the area, being the first in the world to approve the sale of cultivated meat in 2020. Experts say more public support is needed for cultivated meat to go mainstream. The ComLink+ Plus financial aid scheme has revealed its report card, helping more than half of low-income families under its care achieve stability by meeting their day-to-day needs. Denise Low, director of MSF's Service and Delivery Division, weighs in on how the ComLink+ programme has helped its beneficiaries. She also speaks on common problems faced by families who might still need help and how the team behind ComLink+ will adjust its approach to continue to help such families.
