The Education Ministry is relocating its MOE kindergarten MK@Kranji and Kranji Primary School (KPS) from Choa Chu Kang to Tengah in 2028. Nearby Bukit Batok West will also get a new preschool in 2028, when MK@Bukit View opens within Bukit View Primary School's new campus. Outram Secondary School will move from York Hill to Sengkang in 2026, and a new primary school and MOE Kindergarten will open in Tampines North come 2029. European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen said the West must not let up in supplying Ukraine with weapons and money, if it wants it to succeed in its war against Russia. At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Chinese Premier Li Qiang highlighted the importance of keeping global supply chains "smooth and stable". Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui during her three-day visit to Moscow. Ms Choe has already held meetings with her Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov. She lauded relations between the two countries, adding that ties are moving forward and in line with the leaders' plans. South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol has vowed to punish North Korea "multiple times stronger", in the event that it carries out any act of provocation against the South. An IndiGo flight passenger was detained by authorities on Sunday (Jan 14) after he attacked a pilot over a flight delay amid dense fog in Northern India.
