Soldiers are using robotic suits to do all the heavy lifting as they put together 300,000 parade packs together for Singapore's National Day. Parade organisers are also using an automated assembly line of robotic arms and roving transport robots to make the process more efficient. While the manual assembly lines need eight persons to man, the automated one saves manpower by almost half. Rachel Teng reports.

Tomorrow (17 July) marks 10 years since Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down over eastern Ukraine, killing all 298 passengers and cabin crew on board. In 2014, MH17 was en route to Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam when it was hit by a Russian-made missile. In 2022, a Dutch court convicted two Russians and a Ukrainian for their roles in shooting down the Boeing 777, but the men remain at large. Pakistan is seeking to ban former prime minister Imran Khan's political party - the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). It is also pressing the country's top court to file treason charges against him. New private home sales in the first half of this year hit a record low in two decades.
