Des chiffres record pour les voyages ont été enregistrés en Chine pendant les vacances du Nouvel An chinois, allant du 10 au 17 février. Quelque 2,3 milliards de voyages de passagers ont été enregistrés au cours des 8 derniers jours, dont près de 100 millions de voyages en train. Le nombre de voyages en train est ainsi passé de 5,5 millions le 10 février, 1er jour du Nouvel An chinois, à 15,3 millions vendredi. Lors de la session "La Chine dans le monde" de la Conférence de Munich sur la sécurité qui se tient actuellement à Munich, le ministre chinois des Affaires étrangères, Wang Yi, a prononcé samedi un discours intitulé "Agir fermement en tant que force de stabilité dans un monde instable." Il a expliqué les propositions de la Chine sur la construction d'une communauté de destin pour l'humanité, prônant un "monde multipolaire égal et ordonné". Ceux qui tentent d'exclure la Chine au nom de la réduction des risques commettront une erreur historique, a indiqué M. Wang devant les officiels de la politique de sécurité internationale participant à la Conférence de Munich sur la sécurité. Wang Yi a déclaré que l'économie mondiale était comme un grand océan qui ne peut être découpé en lacs isolés, et que la tendance vers la mondialisation économique ne peut être inversée. Il a affirmé que la porte de la Chine était grande ouverte aux entreprises internationales. Il a ajouté que quelle que soit l'évolution de la situation internationale, la Chine, en tant que grand pays responsable, resterait une force stabilisatrice dans un monde instable.
