Судостроительная промышленность Китая по трём основным показателям занимает 1-е место в мире 14 лет подряд. По данным Министерства промышленности и информатизации КНР, в 2023 году страна завершила строительство судов суммарным дедвейтом свыше 42-х млн. тонн, что на 11,8 % больше, чем годом ранее. Количество принятых верфями КНР новых заказов выросло почти на 56,5% в годовом исчислении, превысив 70 млн дедвейт-тонн. По состоянию на декабрь общий объём выполняемых китайскими верфями заказов превысил 139 миллионов дедвейт-тонн, рост — 32%. Все эти три показателя впервые превысили половину доли международного рынка.

The Republic of #Nauru announced Monday that it will recognize the one-China principle and sever "diplomatic relations" with #Taiwan. In a post on Facebook, the government of Nauru said that it will follow the UN Resolution 2758, which recognizes the People's Republic of China as the sole legal government representing the whole of China, and recognizes Taiwan as an inalienable part of China's territory.
